ClayCo Cosmetics Secures $2 Million in Series A Round Led by Unilever Ventures

ClayCo Cosmetics, a skincare brand founded by Niharika Jhunjhunwala in March, has raised $2 million in its Series A funding round, marking its first external investment. The round was led by Unilever Ventures, with the funds earmarked for expanding c‘s product portfolio, boosting branding efforts, ramping up recruitment, and meeting working capital needs.

ClayCo blends natural ingredients with modern technology, drawing from ancient traditions and global cultures. Its debut collection, “Rituals of Japan”, features products like cleansers, moisturizers, and serums, made with traditional ingredients like rice, sake, and azuki beans.

The brand’s flagship product, the Rice and Sake Sleep Mask, has quickly become a top seller on platforms like Amazon, Nykaa, and Tira, with over 100,000 units sold.

Looking ahead, Company plans to launch a Moroccan-inspired body care range, continuing its mission to offer affordable luxury by combining diverse beauty traditions with high-performance skincare solutions.
