Vivo is gearing up to unveil the Vivo V40e in India, marking the third model in the company’s V40 series, following the release of the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro. The V40e is designed to offer notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo V30e, and will come in two color options. Key highlights include a 6.77-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.

The Vivo V40e India launch is confirmed for September 25 at 12:00pm IST, as revealed by the brand through a press invite on Friday. A dedicated microsite on Vivo India’s website is also live, teasing the phone’s design and core specifications.

The Vivo V40e boasts a refreshed design compared to its predecessor, the Vivo V30e, including a new Infinity Eye camera module with Aura light. The smartphone will be available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze color variants. Its 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and SGS low blue light certification, ensuring an immersive and comfortable viewing experience.

For photography, the dual-camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with 2x portrait mode, paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the front, it sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, the camera system supports advanced features like AI Eraser and AI Photo Enhancer to improve photo quality.

Under the hood, the Vivo V40e is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC, although this detail has yet to be officially confirmed. The phone is also tipped to have an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. With a slim 7.49mm build and weighing just 183 grams, it’s designed for both style and comfort.

Lastly, the V40e is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups and extended usage.
