Gurugram-based defense robotics startup Sharang Shakti has successfully raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round, co-led by AUM Ventures and Venture Highway, with additional participation from JK Group’s Family Office, Appreciate Capital, and several notable angel investors.
The freshly secured capital will be directed towards product development and expanding the team, the company announced in a recent press release.
Founded in 2023 by Karan Goyal, Chirag Singla, Jitendra Singh, Gaurav Kumar, and Rishabh Choudhary, Sharang Shakti focuses on cutting-edge innovations in airspace surveillance and airborne threat mitigation. The company is currently developing an anti-drone system that is capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile drones—this marks the first of many products in its ambitious development pipeline.
